Created and developed by the Dublin Employment Pact,
Equal at Work is a Dublin-wide initiative involving 48 partner organisations
from the public, private and community & voluntary sectors in a pioneering
attempt to develop new and more inclusive models of recruitment and in-work
progression.
Because of the scope of the Project, and the desire to achieve meaningful
and lasting change, a broad range of partners was essential. From the
start it was an aim of the DEP that the partners themselves would develop,
implement and mainstream the changes. It was, therefore, essential that
key organisations in each of the three labour market sectors form the
core of the partnership – due to its size and complexity, this DP
took almost two years to establish.
