| Dublin Employment Pact, commissioned by DRA and Dublin city/county managers, leads the Employment & Skills Strand of this Strategy. DEP hosted the conference “Future of Work in Dublin” in November 2009 and commissioned a report by wrc consultants. |

Dublin Community ICT Project |
Funded by Dept of Communications and in partnership with FIT and DCC, Dublin Employment Pact has developed a model of community based ICT training and infrastructure upgrade for those people and communities experiencing exclusion from our Knowledge Society. Over 2,000 people received training in the latest round of this initiative and the evaluation, Making IT Work, was launched in January 2010 at an event hosted by Lord Mayor of Dublin Emer Costello and addressed by Conor Lenihan TD.
Funding for a further round has recently been awarded, which will commence roll out in 2010. |

Dublin Strategy for Social Inclusion |
| DEP, working with Clann Credo, was commissioned to form a basis for a practical strategy for developing Social Enterprise, particularly given its potential in a period of recession. Click here for further details. |

Learning at Work |
| An initiative first developed by Dublin Employment Pact in 2001 for upskilling low skilled workers in employment during working hours, has proved hugely successful. Several evaluation reports of the different rounds have been completed and the current round, in partnership with FAS, City and County VECs, will conclude in April 2010.
