Developing a Dublin Regional Labour Market Strategy

This involved preparatory work on a comprehensive Dublin Regional Employment Strategy. An outline strategy was developed for submission under Article 6 ESF of the European Union in response to a Call for Proposals for the localising of the European Employment Strategy.

This arose from the inclusion in the European Employment Guidelines (2002) of a Guideline seeking the localising of National Action Plans for Employment to the local and regional levels. Proposal involved 30 key organisations, agencies and Government Departments across the Dublin Region.
