R. Immink, P. Kearney: Community Enterprise: A Business Planning Workbook for the Social Economy (2003).

The study, Study of the Social Economy in Dublin, produced in 2001, recommended that skills development supports were a key need in the developing sector in Dublin.

The DEP Local Enterprise and Social Economy Working Group drafted terms of reference for the production of a user-friendly guide to business planning and business development for the sector. The resultant Workbook, produced in partnership with the National College of Ireland (NCI) and destined to be used on its courses, was launched in February 2003.
