Cities Action against Social Exclusion (CASE project) (2003)

Project developed through the Social Welfare Committee of EUROCITIES, of which the DEP is an active member. Funded under the European Commission initiative Preparatory Actions to Combat and Prevent Social Exclusion (B3-4105), it was carried out in partnership with Dublin City Council during 2002 and completed in 2003. The study examines innovative pilot programmes undertaken by city authorities in Aarhus (Denmark), Barcelona (Spain), Bologna (Italy), Dublin (Ireland), Glasgow (Scotland), Lewisham (England), Newcastle (England), Rotterdam (Netherlands), Stockholm (Sweden) and Trikala (Greece).
