Best practice in employment services for people with disabilities

Following the "mainstreaming" of disability employment services in 2000, the Pact established a short-term Working Group to examine the effectiveness of the new processes.

This consisted of P. O'Connor (DEP), Shira Mehlman (FÁS), Mary MacSweeney (Dublin City Council), Brian Miller (NDA) and Peter Kearns (Forum of People with Disabilities).

Through the Eurocities Social Welfare Committee an initiative was undertaken to compare best practice in this area across European cities (Barcelona, Copenhagen, Dublin, Eindhoven, Southampton, Stockholm, Vienna).
